Daniel "Dan" Fry of King Mountain, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born on August 5, 1950 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Daniel Mack Fry and Dorothy McCannon Fry. Dan loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed working on cars. He was a mechanic for most of his life and briefly worked in the concrete industry. He also attended Geneva Community Church in Geneva, Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Brown Fry of Kings Mountain, KY; two sons, Timothy Lee Fry, Sr. (Melissa) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Thomas Lynn Fry of Hustonville, Kentucky; two daughters, Teresa Marie Wininger (James) of Avon, Indiana and Tonya Michelle Gilpin (Paul) of Stanford, Kentucky; six brothers, Doug Fry, Dwayne Fry, Darrel Fry, Donnie Jo Fry, DeDe Fry and Teddy Fry; two sisters, Doris Felts and Dorean Collins; fourteen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Fry and Dennis Fry; and one sister, Deborah Phelps.
A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Geneva Community Church in Geneva, Kentucky. A funeral has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Geneva Community Church in Geneva, Kentucky with Rev. Chris Taylor officiating the service. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Kentucky.
Pallbearers are Timothy Lee Fry, Sr., Thomas Lynn Fry, Timothy Lee Fry, Jr., Thomas Gregory Fry, Jeremy Farley and Christopher Hale.
