Greg Davis, 52, of Eubank, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, KY. Born September 25, 1966 in Casey County to the late Cecil and Nancy Pauline Coleman Davis, he was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Operation Desert Storm, and worked in tree trimming for most of his life. He was an avid U.K. fan, loved his grandchildren, and was a member of VFW. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Davis; three sons, Daniel Davis and Ryan Salyers all of Eubank, KY, and Matthew Davis of Florida; one brother, Doyle Davis (Kathleen) of Stanford, KY; three sisters, Judy Jenkins (Keith) of Highland, KY, Anita Taylor (Roscoe) of Kings Mountain, KY, and Kim Phillips of Stanford, KY; three grandchildren, Alyiah Salyers, Brooklynn Davis, and Rilyn Salyers; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence Davis, Bobby Davis, Joel Davis, and George Davis. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5-8pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the funeral home with Reverend David Gambrel officiating. Casket bearers are: Scotty Jones, Timmy Bell, Alex Salyers, Aaron Salyers, Jerry Davis, and Robbie Phillips. Honorary bearer will be: Ricky Wells. Burial will follow at Gooch Cemetery in Kings Mountain, KY.
