Ronald Glenn Holton, 70, of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. Born November 29, 1948 in Stanford, KY to the late Raymond Holton and Rubie Johnson Holton, he was a retired employee of Lincoln County Pallet Mill, and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was an avid U.K. fan, loved NASCAR (specifically Dale Earnhardt), enjoyed being outdoors, and loved his grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Raymond Earl Holton (Cheryl) of Eubank, KY; one daughter, Violet Roe (Denzil) of Waynesburg, KY; two brothers, Robert Holton (Debbie) of Liberty, KY and Rickie Holton (Mary) of Yosemite, KY; two sisters, Rhonda Cornett (Hank) of Hustonville, KY, and Regina Estes of Danville, KY; three grandchildren, James Howard Terrell, Jr., Emily Sue Holton, and Anthony Marshall Gage Holton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Randall Holton. A one day service has been scheduled for Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 1-4pm with funeral service beginning at 4pm with Reverend Vola Brown officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1pm at McKinney Cemetery in McKinney, KY. Casket bearers will be: Raymond Holton, Tommy Estes, Jimmy Sims, Hank Cornett, Cody Estes, and James Terrell, Jr.
