Roy Lee Reichenbach, 79, of Stanford, KY passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born February 25, 1939 in Stanford, KY to the late Albert and Mildred Denham Reichenbach, he was the widower of the late Judy Reichenbach. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a cattle, tobacco, and hay farmer all of his life. He was very involved as a leader in the agriculture community including Director of Lincoln County Cattleman’s Association, Lincoln County Farm Bureau Federation, Chairman of Lincoln County Extension District Board, past president of Lincoln County Fair Board, Burley Farmers Advisory Council Director, and past director of Kentucky Forage Council. Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Kirkpatrick (Tommy) of Stanford, KY; three sisters, Bobbie Elliott of Tennessee, Ann Elliott (Joe), and Mona Bender both of Stanford, KY; two grandchildren, Chase Kirkpatrick and Leanne Kirkpatrick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5-8pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the funeral home with burial following at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. Casket bearers will be: David Campbell, Jason Elliott, Dan Grigson, Hal Kirkpatrick, Kevin Sweet, Lowell Atwood, Ronnie Cooper, William "Bubbie" Pinkston, and Boyd Coleman. Honorary bearers are: Lincoln County Farm Bureau Directors, Lincoln County Cattleman's Association Directors, Lincoln County Extension Board & Staff, and Kentucky Depot Supper Club.
