Verna Carol Denham Cutter, 63, of Richmond, KY passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at home. Born July 11, 1955 in Danville, KY to the late Woody Denham and Willa Lee Banks and she worked as a housewife for most of her life. Carol also loved and left behind her two precious fur babies; Romeo & Scamp. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Thomas Cutter of Richmond, KY; two sons, Skipper Smith (Angie) of Berea, KY, and Chase Smith of Danville, KY; one grandson, Barrett Lee Smith; one step-son, Jerrid Cutter (Leana) of Virginia; one step-daughter, Jennifer Slate (Steve) of Paint Lick, KY; three step-grandchildren, Brittany Kelly, Triton Cutter, and Temperance Cutter; two step-great-grandchildren, Eleanor Kelly and Eden Kelly; one sister, Kay Kay Denham of Stanford, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Denham and Christopher Banks Gilbert; and one sister, Jenny Denham. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 5-6pm with the funeral service beginning at 6pm. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
