Joey Wohner

Joey Wohner, 60, of Hustonville, KY passed away on at home on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Born on September 12, 1965 in Lebanon, KY to Faye Beavers and the late Rue Wohner.

Joey loved his family deeply and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. Some of Joey’s favorite times were spent surrounded by family, especially gathering everyone together for a good family fish fry.

Survivors include two sons, Travis Wohner (Nichole) and Jessie Wohner (Tameka); mother, Faye Beavers; two siblings, Sandy Nunley and Freddy Wohner (Jackie); six grandchildren, Hunter Burt, Dale Wohner, Coleton Burt, Addison Wohner, Kenzi Wohner and Makiya Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rue Wohner.

A one-day service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
