Obituary

Billy Harold Rogers, 76, of Junction City, KY passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Born on August 26, 1945 to the late Frank and Dorothy Floyd Rogers. He was a farmer for most of his life. Billy enjoyed watching westerns and loved to dance, especially to country music. He was a member of Junction City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Rayens of Junction City, who was married on December 8, 2005; three step-sons, Eddie Rayens, Steven Rayens (Christie) and Jason Rayens, all of Junction City; one step-daughter, Rebecca Cline of Danville; three brothers, Marvin Rogers, Melvin Rogers and Mark Rogers; two sisters, Sally Kulich and Linda Harmon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Rogers; one step-son, Bill Rayens; and two brothers, Hubert Rogers and Charles Rogers.

A one-day service has been scheduled for Friday, April 1, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
