Emma Lee Brown King, 91, of McKinney, KY passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on April 29, 1929 in Stanford, KY to the late Dee Willis Brown and Dora Naylor Brown. Emma was a Homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of Geneva Community Church.
Survivors include four sons, Johnny King (Rita) of Hustonville, Ky; William Steve King of Hustonville, KY; Ricky King (Tammy) of Hustonville, KY and Bobby King (Shelly) of Kings Mountain, Ky; one daughter, Dora Sherbert (Larry) of Lexington, KY; one brother, Vernon Brown of McKinney, KY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert King; parents, Dee Willis Brown and Dora Naylor Brown; two sons, James Thomas king and Marvin King; four daughters, Virginia Gordon, Rosie McCoy, Wanda Scott and Theresa Griffin; three brothers, Toddy Brown, John Thomas Brown and Ernest Brown; and two sisters, Catherine Owens and Mamie Privett.
Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney, KY. Funeral will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney, KY with Bro. Chris Taylor and Bro. Rick Naylor officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Carey, Jr., Dylan King, John King, Eric King, Levi King, Demetrius King, Zach McCoy, Jason King and Daniel King.
Due to Covid-19, all individuals will be required to wear a mask for the Visitation and Funeral Services.
