Everett Cleversy, 90, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Harrodsburg Health and Rehabilitation. Born on March 30, 1930 in Ashtabula, OH to the late Warren Lee Cleversy, Sr. and Edith Kent Cleversy. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served in the Korean War.
Survivors include one son, Floyd Simmons of Crossville, TN; one daughter, Judy Isaacs (David) of Campbellsville, KY; one sister, Caroline Houser; daughter-in-law, Mary Cox of Lebanon, KY; special niece, Caroline Houser; four grandchildren, Stacy Rucker, Jeff Cox, Rnee Thompson and David Isaacs; seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Lee Cleversy, Sr. and Edith Kent Cleversy; one son, Tommy Cox; five brothers, Raymond Cleversy, Bruce Cleversy, Richard Cleversy, Arthur Cleversy and Warren Lee Cleversy, Jr.; five sisters, Marion Benyak, Edith Rains, Alberta Wright, Yvonne Kidd and Virginia Ledford; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A private family service has been scheduled at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Burial will take place at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY with Full Military Honors presented by Caswell Saufley Post 18.
