Lou "Ann" Anna Kidd Stevens

Lou Anna “Ann” Kidd Stevens, 86, of Crab Orchard, KY passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 6, 2023. Born on December 11, 1936 in Broughtentown, KY to the late Claude and Martha Belle Griffin Kidd. She is the widow to the late Kenneth Stevens.

Survivors include two sons, Kenny Stevens (Teresa) of Crab Orchard and Wesley Stevens (Stacy) of Lancaster; three daughters, Barbara Stevens Swinney, Martha Stevens Day (Tommy) and Rosemary Stevens, all of Crab Orchard; three sisters, Christine Luttrell of Versailles, KY, Roslea Owens of Richmond, KY, Bobbi Jean Hughs of Frankfort, KY; 16 grandchildren, Brian Swinney (Stephanie), Amanda Leary (Sean), Terri Agee (James), Matt Day (Olivia), Kayla Ayers (Jimmy), Jake Stevens (Allison), Greg Stevens (Sasha), Jessica Stevens (Justin Smith), Josh Stevens (Merila), Kelsey Sandlin (Chris), Isaac Stevens, Andrew Langworthy (Marie), Jordan Langworthy (Katie), Karli Morris, Karson Morris and Kole Morris; 38 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Stevens; parents, Claude and Martha Kidd; an infant son, John Earl Stevens; one daughter, Sheena Faye Stevens; one sister, Linda Faye Kidd; and four brothers, Henry Kidd, Junior Kidd, Ernest Kidd and Bill Kidd.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Church in Preachersville, KY. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Church with Bro. Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Dix River Church of Christ Cemetery in Preachersville, KY.

Active Pallbearers are Brian Swinney, Matt Day, Jake Stevens, Greg Stevens, Josh Stevens, Isaac Stevens, Andrew Langworthy and Jordan Langworthy.
