Wanda Yentsch Gourley, 83, of Highland, KY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Born on August 15, 1938 in Waynesburg, KY to the late William and Ruth Horn Yentsch. She was the widow to the late Bobby G. Gourley. Wanda retired from General Electric after 26 years. Family was the most important thing to Wanda. She worked so hard to provide for her children. Wanda loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Christian Church.
Survivors include two children, Darrell Gourley (Crystal) and Vicky VanHook (Donnie), both of Stanford; one sister, Juanita Sims (Conley); five grandchildren, Heather Caldwell (Chad), Alex Gourley (Tristen), Andrew Gourley, Josh Ray and Jacob Ray (Grace); four great-grandchildren, Addison Caldwell, Baylee Caldwell, Jaydalin Waldrep and Tritt Brandon Gourley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Gourley; parents, William and Ruth Yentsch; two sisters, Rose Mae Floyd and Polly Ann Yentsch (infant).
Visitation will be on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Christian Church in Stanford, KY. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Christian Church with Bro. Bill Gooch and Bro. Brad King officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Alex Gourley, Andrew Gourley, Jacob Ray, Josh Ray, Heather Caldwell, Chad Caldwell, Addison Caldwell and Baylee Caldwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jaydalin Waldrep and Tritt Gourley.
